Upper West Side, Manhattan

Broadway between 97th and 104th was closed to regular traffic on and off today to film a chase scene (involving a motorcycle chasing a bike messenger) for a movie called "Premium Rush." I was too impatient to wait around to watch them film but I walked briefly among the many extras, faux cabs, crew members and cops (ready to stop traffic) who were waiting for the director to shout "Action."
The (stunt?) messenger.
The bike and camera (swaddled against the rain and mounted to the trunk of a car).
Faux traffic waiting for the cameras to roll.
